adhocSpace began as the TechTalks Edinburgh meetups and has grown into a community-driven home for the events, the recorded talks, and the speakers behind them, with a few tools built alongside. The focus is practical — engineering and product work, explained by the people who did it.
The events and everything around them live here — talks, speakers, and the blog — alongside adhc.to, a link shortener we built and use.
Sessions focus on real work — what someone built, how it went, and what they would do differently. Technical and specific, not promotional.
The site, the tooling, and the content pipeline are open source and maintained in the open.
Engineers, founders, and people who build things — meeting to learn from each other in person.

Comes from a talent and people background in tech. She runs the community side — the members, the speakers, and the human logistics that turn a room and a projector into an evening worth showing up for.
Events are free and held in Edinburgh. See what’s coming up, or watch a recorded talk first.
